Root access makes it possible

When you're an owner of a VPS, you have full control, because you have root access! You can install/do almost anything possible on a dedicated server.

• You can set up your server in testing or even experimental mode (ex. for Debian).
• Switch off safe_mode in PHP
• Disable any type of unsafe access to the server: FTP, IMAP (standard), POP, etc.
